★ Like Vidya, Salman too has tinted glass?

Actors Ajay Devgn and Vidya Balan have been reprimanded by traffic police for the tinted films in their cars. Vidya sweetly pays the fine every time but has requested the cops to let her keep the tinted film because she cannot handle the harsh sunlight.

As for Ajay, he bowled the cops over with his conscientiousness and had the tinted film removed immediately.

The latest to join the bandwagon is
Salman Khan, who was on his way to South Mumbai in his high-end vehicle.

It is said that the traffic cops stopped the vehicle at the Worli exit for the light tinted film. But once they spotted Salman Khan in it, the sombre mood immediately changed and the actor was greeted with a wide smile. The cops reportedly took pictures with the star on their mobile phones. The cops allegedly let off Salman with a light warning. Salman-struck kya?

It’s the season of Bollywood events, what with award shows taking place almost every weekend!
This weekend saw Salman Khan step in as a host for the STAR Guild Awards. This was Salman’s first time as a host and he seemed to have pulled off the show well, leaving everyone happy with his bindass style!
Sallu was seen joking around with the guests and seemed to bein quite a good mood.
Salman started off with his leg pulling session, the first target was rockstar Priyanka Chopra. Salman kept teasing Priyanka by asking her to sing some songs from her music album ‘In My City’ and a song from Barfi. Later, he asked her in a funny tone, “Koi aitraaz to nahi hai?”
Sallu’s bullying session didn’t exactly stop there. He went a step ahead and made seductress VidyaBalan his next target. Salman asked the newly married Vidya, “Shaadi ke baad kaisa lagta hai entertainment? ” Being the bold diva that Vidya is, she replied in a funny tone, “Mujhe jo pasand hai uska mazza sirf raat ko aata hai.” Hmm..seems intriguing, isn’t it?
The guests went ahead and encouraged Salman with a great round of applause and riotous laughter. And why not, it’s always great to see Sallu bringing his cheerful self to the core and that too in front of so many stars!

★ Star Guild Awards: Salman Khan debuts as award show host, wows spectators !

Although Salman Khan has anchored many reality shows but it was for the first time that the actor turned host for an award show.

Yes, Salman Khan indeed was at his flamboyant best while hosting the Star Guild Awards 2013.

 The award night saw the who’s who of Bollywood in full attendance.

Salman Khan was the highlight of the night. Salman brought his signature style, camaraderie and flair on stage and won the hearts of the audience and contemporaries. Sonakshi Sinha who hosted a section of the evening with Salman complimented his wit and humour.

Vidya Balan for the second time in a row won the Best Actress Award for her performance in Kahaani while Ranbir Kapoor won Best Actor Male for Barfi. New-age films, Vicky Donor and Barfi tied with 7 awards each, sweeping major awards in the popular and technical category with the latter winning Best Movie as well.
